About Us

Mission

The mission of the Department of International Relations is to provide students with an education that can understand the developments in the world. Thanks to the theoretical education they receive in Turkish and English, students will be successful in their positions after graduation. In addition, it aims to be a human-oriented, environmentally sensitive department that conducts research and education in the light of science, produces information, technology and services, offers its products for the benefit of society, contributes to local and national development, realizes change and innovation in line with continuous evolution, internalizes national and universal values.

Vision

In the light of the nature of the International Relations discipline, it is to be a department that produces graduates who have been trained in universal academic standards, who can carry the awareness of social responsibility to the level of leadership and who have a say in international diplomacy.

Gradaute Requirements

To be successful in a total of at least 240 ECTS credits from all courses determined in the curriculum.

Employment Opportunities

International Relations graduates can be employed in all areas of the public and private sectors such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the General Staff, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the foreign relations units of the relevant ministries, and the banking sector.
