About Us


Aim

The Department of Business Administration, which continues its activities within the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, started to accept students for the first time in the 2012-2013 academic year. The purpose of the Department of Business Administration is to train dynamic and innovative human resources that are compatible with the changing needs of the private sector and public institutions, can make effective decisions, have a contemporary mindset, are sensitive to society and the environment, and adopt continuous development as a principle. Students who will graduate from the program will be able to find a place in business life as entrepreneurs, managers and effective employees.

Vision

The vision of our Department of Business Administration can be defined as raising well-equipped graduates who can produce and implement ideas and projects that are beneficial to the society and humanity in general, and whose talents have turned into competence.

Mission

Our mission is to provide an education that can create competence in the field of business and economics and to share the academic experience of the department with the society.

The content of the four-year undergraduate program is created by considering both the constantly changing structure of business life and contemporary theoretical developments. Thus, it is aimed that our students have a flexible mindset and increase their level of success in a global competitive environment. In the first two years of the undergraduate program of the Department of Business Administration, basic information about business administration, economics, law, financial mathematics and other fields related to the program is presented. In the third and fourth years, with the participation of elective courses, the elements of business management are revealed by focusing on areas such as marketing, finance, accounting, management, human resources, and production management, and the research, analysis and managerial skills of our students are developed through the courses they choose.

 

Gradaute Requirements

For graduation, it is sufficient for our students to successfully complete all the courses in the program curriculum.

Employment Opportunities

The graduates of our department primarily gain the ability and qualification to establish an independent business as per the framework of the education program they receive. In addition, they have the opportunity to find a wide range of jobs in both the public and private sectors. Inspectorship, expertise, customs consultancy, international trade (import/export) operations manager, banking, insurance, auditing, financial advisory, financial consultancy, marketing manager/manager, customer relations officer, sales representative, production and planning officer in public and private sector organizations , human resources specialist, management, management consultancy, etc. duties can be shown among some positions where graduates of our department are employed. Graduates of our department can continue their postgraduate education and take part in the academic staff of universities, or they can rise in their current positions with an academic career.
