Aim

To ensure that students receive the theoretical and practical knowledge necessary for their work in both the public and private sectors,

To train people who propose solutions for the problems that arise in the public sector, non-governmental organizations and politics,

To ensure that lecturers and students make quality and original publications in the national and international arena.

Mission

To provide students with a scientific, interdisciplinary and methodological knowledge in the fields of politics, economics, sociology and law; to educate students who are aware of local, national and global problems in the social, political and administrative fields, can offer solutions for these problems, and are sought by public sector, non-governmental organizations and political institutions.

Vision

Generations that will ensure that national values ​​are compatible with universal values ​​and contribute to these values ​​are raised; to be a department that produces solutions to local, national and global problems.

Gradaute Requirements

The student, who has reached the graduation stage, must first have successfully completed all his/her courses and taken at least 157 credits and 240 ECTS courses.

Employment Opportunities

Students who graduate from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration have the opportunity to work in many fields. Graduates can find the opportunity to pursue careers in various fields in public institutions and private sector. They can work in banks, companies and media in the private sector, as well as in middle and senior positions within ministries, undersecretariats and local governments. In addition, they can have an academic career by continuing their education through master's and doctoral degrees.
